Bride Waves: The Cleft Ikonitas Culture

Conditioning for DanceAli Sukri a dance performance entitled "The bride Waves" is a cultural cleavage through the icons universalised motion. Property in such a way as to form grooves that life is always moving without interruption and to the various meanings of human life. Only through a large plastic sheet, the show is filled with inner conflicts of man, especially men who are stricken by disasters. In this case the tragedy of Aceh became the main inspiration of this show. Civil war is not over yet another disaster comes barely anything left. However, this is all there is silver lining. God seemed not bear to see suffering people of Aceh due to a war that never ended. Lord ask for her hand, and keep him away from the arena of war.
"Bride Waves" clearly implies that the disaster that comes from the sea (read: the tsunami) was so heartbreaking and nature seemed to woo the people to be a hero and placed eternity in heaven with his girlfriend. Plastics which floated like a big wave rocked the singing and mourning the dead. Motion graceful dancers who formed the talking bodies, bodies are meaningful.

Minangkabau Ethnicity Dog's Life in Film

Documentary Film: A Very Short Introduction (Very Short Introductions)I've gotten a few inquiries from people outside the Minangkabau ethnic group, such as, "Why do people like to hunt pigs Minang?", "Why Minang people like dogs, but that Minang people of Islam?", "Why pigs should be killed, even though he only lives in the forest? ", and other similar questions with it. At that time I answer it with logic-logic improvise which of course will not satisfy the asker.

Then came the independent film titled A Dog's Life by Zainal "Jay Abi" Abidin, STSI Padangpanjang production which tells of human life (a family) that hunting pigs in Minangkabau. The film which Adi Krishna as his director of photograpy-II is winner of Indonesian Independent Film Festival II (FFII II) in 2003 which was held this SCTV, ironically shows how a pig is more dear peburu dog purchased at a price of millions of rupiah compared with children and his own wife.

Multiculturalism: Examining the Politics of RecognitionBenny Yohannes in his paper says that “multiculturalism in the theater should be understood in principle always be present or absent (absent, present). Three Women's Narrative

Kinship system and the matrilineal Minangkabau adat was not the first to be "inspiration" for the creators. However, at least, to West Sumatra last five years, this was the first utterance of creativity of a rebellion against the system of matrilineal kinship, Minangkabau staged.

Valuable Lessons from the "Lessons"

In an article Eugenio Barba and his colleagues entitled Anatomie de L 'Acteur (1985) translated into Indonesian Yudiaryani mentioned: the word "text" before showing the text written or oral, printed or handwritten, it means that knitted together.
